Until recently, this thirteen part series was completely unrepresented in the BBC archive, a shame really as it starred Sidney James as a spiv-type property developer trying to buy up the best parts of London, Dennis Price as his more sociably acceptable sidekick. Benson, the Office General Manager, was played by Wallas Eaton, Susan Corkingdale, the plummy voiced secretary, was played by June Whitfield, and Robin Ray was Steve the office Boy. The entire series was written by Ronald Chesney and Ronald wolfe and produced by Tom Ronald.
This is notable as it was the last regular radio appearance for Sid, although the character was only a more fixed version of the 'Sid' from Hancock. The series was broadcast on the Light Programme from 9pm of a Thursday evening, each episode running to 30 minutes approx.
