A series of lectures in the style of public information broadcasts providing light-hearted advice on a variety of topics. In the first series, Hardy was helped by Stephen Frost, and Debbie Isett, but Frost was replaced by Gordon Kennedy from the second series onwards, and Meera Syal appears occasionally. BBC7 has repeated a number recently and it is hoped the entire run will show up eventually, and several editions have made it onto cassette.

Originally broadcast on Radio 4 of a Thursday at 6.30pm, the series was repeated shortly after on Radio 1 at 8.30pm of a Saturday (except the last two which went out on Mondays at 9pm).
